Amborella Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Roxanna Robertson as Managing Director, where she will lead all aspects of the firm’s management, legal operations and continued development.
Founded in 2024 as an affiliate of SubroSmart, Amborella Law was created to build a different kind of law firm: one combining experienced trial lawyers with the technology, data, and infrastructure developed through nearly 15 years of sophisticated subrogation management.
Robertson joined Amborella Law in January 2025 and has played an integral role in the firm’s development. As its Managing Director, she will lead the next stage of that growth, with responsibility for the firm’s attorneys, strategy, operational execution, and overall performance.

Amborella Law is building a team of accomplished litigators capable of handling complex matters from initial investigation through discovery, trial, and appeal. The firm operates alongside SubroSmart, giving its attorneys access to established subrogation infrastructure, institutional knowledge, and purpose-built technology designed around the needs of insurers.

Robertson brings more than a decade of experience in litigation, compliance, creditors’ rights, and complex, high-volume legal matters. Prior to joining Amborella Law, she spent ten years with Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz LLP, where her practice included large-scale automobile, property fire, and product liability matters. Her experience spans case development, motion practice, trial preparation, and strategic litigation management for insurers and corporate clients.
Robertson earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Texas.
Under Robertson’s leadership, Amborella Law will continue investing in its people, technology, and litigation capabilities as it builds a firm designed for the increasingly complex demands of modern insurance and subrogation litigation.
