
Andrew Mazoff is an attorney at Amborella Law, where he focuses on civil litigation, insurance defense, coverage analysis, high-exposure claims, and subrogation matters. He is an experienced litigator with a broad background handling complex claims involving catastrophic injuries, punitive damages, fraud investigations, contractual disputes, and insurance coverage issues.
Prior to joining Amborella Law, Andrew served in senior litigation and legal audit roles with Progressive Insurance, where he handled complex casualty and coverage matters, reviewed time-limit demands, responded to subpoenas, analyzed contractual issues, and mentored attorneys. He also worked in a legal audit and quality assurance capacity, helping implement nationwide litigation standards, evaluate litigation files, and develop attorney training programs designed to improve compliance and case outcomes.
Andrew’s background also includes private practice experience defending construction defect, premises liability, insurance bad faith, breach of contract, general liability, and other high-exposure civil litigation matters. Earlier in his legal career, he served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Maurice Portley at Division I of the Arizona Court of Appeals. Before becoming an attorney, Andrew served as a police officer and field training officer with the Tempe Police Department, bringing a practical investigative perspective to his litigation practice.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Phoenix School of Law, graduating in the top four percent of his class. He also holds a Master of Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
