She also served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona, where she prosecuted federal criminal matters, and previously served as a state prosecutor managing high-volume felony dockets. Her courtroom experience spans municipal, state, and federal courts, providing her with a broad litigation perspective and substantial trial experience.

Desiree earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
